| ME AND MY
ALLERGY Every Spring, when everything turns green, and the pollen count gets high Whether it's grass or mold or trees or weeds My eyes and nose are never dry. Relief is an elusive stranger That I have never met. And the higher that the green grass grows, The sneezier I get! I've tried all the old home remedies. I've even been to see the Doc. I've taken ephedrines and anti-histamines Every hour 'round the clock. All the eye drops and the nose drops And inhalers have I tried. But the one thing I can't do without Is a box of Kleenex by my side. I know that I should take a test But I'm afraid of what they'll find. Suppose that pollen's not the enemy And it's all just in my mind. |
