WINTER DAYS

The holidays are over, those happy days are done.
So now it's on to serious things, but we can still have fun.
The Winter is upon us, snowy days are yet to come.
The cold'l nip our nose and toes and fingers will be numb.

But if we bundle up real tight and don't forget the gloves,
There's lots of things that we can do that everybody loves.
Just walking in the cold crisp air can make you feel so good.
And speaking of some exercise...don't you think you should?

There's sledding, yes, and skating, to some this is a breeze.
And you can do some skiing, but please look out for trees.
If you can ride a snowmobile... I'm sure that, you'll enjoy.
But be prepared and prudent cause it's really not a toy.

The winter gray will slide on by and days start to expand.
The second month is short, you see, but on the other hand,
It can sometimes be a terror, with blizzards, cold and snow.
It's time for sniffles and the flu, be careful where you go.

Don't forget your Valentine, I hope I'll remember mine.
A card, a rose, some chocolates and you'll be doing fine.
The Winds of March do huff and puff; kites will fill the air.
A little snow, (sometimes a lot) but skies will soon be fair.

April weather's really great, some think they might relax.
Play it cool, dont be April fooled, it's time for Income Tax.
But given time this too will pass then we can welcome Spring.
The sun, the warmth, the flowers, the joy that it will bring.
