MY VALENTINE 

Do you know what a Valentine can be?
I’ll tell you what mine means to me.

She’s faithful and loyal, and I’m confident,
She was meant for me, and was heaven sent.

She can be so like a guiding light,
That leads me through the darkest night.

She can be so bright like a sunny ray,
To keep me warm on a wintry day.

Her smile will cheer me when I’m blue,
And her tender touch is a dream come true.

If the world were mine, I would want her still,
For she has always been my biggest thrill.

She is always there, steadfast and true,
Though she knows my faults are far from few.

And it matters not what the fates decide,
We will face the future, side by side.
